This day trip takes you to Materuni Village, near Moshi, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a perfect short tour that mixes nature and local culture. You will visit the stunning Materuni Waterfalls and join the local Chagga people in a fun and hands-on coffee-making tour.

You’ll walk through farms and forest paths, learn how coffee is grown, roasted, and brewed – and even enjoy a fresh cup made by your own hands. At the waterfall, you can take photos, relax, or dip your feet in the cool water.

Morning pickup from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and drive to Materuni Village.
Start with a short guided walk through the village and forest to Materuni Waterfalls (about 1 hour).
Spend time at the waterfall – enjoy the view, take pictures, and relax.
Walk back to the village and take part in a coffee-making session.
