This short 2-day lodge safari is perfect for travelers with limited time who still want to visit two of Tanzania’s most famous places – Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
You will travel in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof and spend the night in a comfortable lodge or tented camp. This tour gives you a chance to see the Big Five and enjoy the beauty of the wild in just two days.
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.
Long but scenic drive to Serengeti through the Ngorongoro highlands.
Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti plains.
Look for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and more.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.
Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Early breakfast, then depart for Ngorongoro.
Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive.
Watch for rhinos, hippos, zebras, hyenas, and many birds.
Picnic lunch inside the crater.
In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
Drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
