This 4-day lodge safari takes you to three of Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations – the famous Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park (you can choose which one).
You will travel in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof and stay in mid-range lodges or tented camps. This safari gives you a great chance to see the Big Five, enjoy nature, and relax at the end of each day.
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha.
Long drive to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro highlands.
Enter Serengeti and enjoy a late afternoon game drive.
Look for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other animals.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.
Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning game drive in Serengeti, then return for breakfast.
Later, drive toward the Ngorongoro area with game viewing along the way.
Optional visit to a Maasai village (extra cost).
Dinner and overnight at a lodge on the crater rim or nearby.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara or Tarangire
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor and picnic lunch.
Watch for rhinos, hippos, zebras, and more.
In the afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara or Tarangire.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the park.
Day 4: Lake Manyara or Tarangire – Arusha
Morning game drive in the selected park.
In Lake Manyara, watch for birds, elephants, and tree-climbing lions.
In Tarangire, look for large herds of elephants and baobab trees.
Lunch inside the park.
Afternoon drive back to Arusha.
Drop-off at your hotel or airport.
